took the following images over two weekends in November.  They combine a variety of city and suburban scenes 

 


 

On the next page are a series of photos of the New York City Public Library, at 42nd Street.

My visit there was in part prompted by Sarah's discovery that the Library of Congress didn't lend books.
In fact one could construe their approach as being somewhat user Unfriendly.  So one Saturday I set myself off
to confirm that in fact the Main NYC library -- still had books and that "the people" could in fact use them.
