This library is no museum rather it is very much a place that is alive and active in this the late 20th century.  In the following group of images. I hope to capture the blend of both the cybernetic and the classic.

As a part of the renovation and modernization of the Library, the reading rooms were moved from the first floor to the third.  That is where the bulk of these photos were taken.  In then I see a place where a cross section of New York City's citizens can come and draw upon some of the great written treasures of mankind.

Young and older alike are

( I once said old --
but hey I getting a little sensitive about it)

The Classics Abound -- both from within and without as

the Chrysler Building, my personal favorite for classy design peers in at those in the reading room.

The Next Page has a few of my more unusual "creations" these are a bit experimental in nature,
though they do convey a sense of the way that I see the world, when I am seeing it at all.
